Updated: Edmonton downstage | 01.12.2015

  • Opening this week:

    • Venus in Fur at the Citadel, January 17 – February 8
    • Season three of The 11 O’Clock Number resumes Friday, January 16
    • Update: Cheerleader! by Morgan Smith was set to play at the Roxy Theatre, January 15 – 25 (previews January 13 and 14), however, I don’t have an update after the fire this morning ravaged the building. I’ll stay tuned for updates on the show and meanwhile my thoughts are with the cast & crew of Cheerleader! and Theatre Network, as well as the entire Edmonton theatre community. The Roxy was much more than a building – it was one of the homes, gathering places, and sources of inspiration for our community.
