  • Workshop West announced the line up for the 2015 Canoe Theatre Festival! Canoe is one of my favourite festivals of the year, and it looks like this year’s line up is no less awesome than normal. I’m also pleased to announce that After the House Lights is one of the official blogs for the festival, so stay tuned for lots of previews and reviews before and during the festival.
  • Thou Art Here Theatre announced its 2015 season this week! I loved everything I saw from Thou Art Here last year, and am looking forward to what they have in store for 2015!
  • What It Is podcast has two new episodes up:
    • Ep 60: Holiday Special 2014
    • Make Something Edmonton Special – recorded at Sound, Light & Motion put on by Make Something Edmonton
  • Edmonton auditions for Evangeline, the Musical which will be co-produced by the Citadel Theatre and Confederation Centre, are January 8 and 9.
  • The third annual National Congress on Culture will be held March 7 and 8 at the Citadel Theatre and will explore topics as wide-ranging as measuring impact, models of cultural engagement, and developing partnerships for funding and support.
