We’re pretty fortunate that we’ve got a lot of opportunities to see Shakespeare’s timeless plays in our city, and here’s one more chance to see six of Shakespeare’s most famous plays at Landmark Cinemas in City Centre Mall. Shakespeare’s Globe, in partnership with MEI Events International Inc. and Arts Alliance is bringing high-definition recordings of the following plays from the Globe Theatre:

• Henry V (November 8)
• Twelfth Night (November 15)
• The Taming of the Shrew (December 20)
• The Tempest (January 10)
• Macbeth (March 28)
• A Midsummer Night’s Dream (April 11)

Exciting news! MEI Events International has offered readers of After the House Lights a set of two tickets to the upcoming screening of Twelfth Night on November 15! To enter, either tweet at me (@jennamarynowski) or leave a comment below with your favourite line from a Shakespeare piece before midnight on Monday November 10! The winner will be chosen through a random draw and mailed tickets to the performance.
