  • Tickets for Walterdale Playhouse’s upcoming season are on sale as well.

  • The What it is Podcast just released Ep. 48: Monsters and Poltergeists
    • PS – What it is Productions (the same creative genius’ behind the podcast) is producing Ligature Marks by Mac Rogers at this year’s Fringe. Look for a preview on After the House Lights soon!
  • The University of Alberta’s new Lee Playwright in Residence, Colleen Murphy says some insightful and wonderful things about Edmonton’s theatre scene in this interview
  • The Edmonton Galleria Project announced it will be moving forward with a phased approach.
  • Citadel Theatre posted a preview, including Theatre Calgary’s trailer, for its first show of the season (which I’m super excited about), Kim’s Convenience. Here’s the trailer:
  • Maybe it’s not exactly theatre, but The Choir Girl posted a great read about the future of opera and how indie opera is setting itself up to survive and thrive.
